007 and Star Wars top list of film tie-ins.

The classic Rare-developed GoldenEye 007 for the N64 is the greatest game ever based on a film property, according to voters who placed it at number 6 in GAME.co.uk’s Greatest Games of All Time.

Not to be confused with EA’s lacklustre GoldenEye: Rogue Agent, GoldenEye 007 is an FPS which is notable for being vastly innovative as well as having one of the greatest multiplayer modes in history.

After Bond, Star Wars is the most popular non-gaming property in games, with two titles, LEGO Star Wars: The Original Saga at 58 and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic at 68.

Notably, James Bond and Star Wars are the only two examples of non-gaming entertainment properties in the entire Top 100.

The LEGO Star Wars team return this June with LEGO Indiana Jones, which gives the same hilarious platforming-adventure treatment to the first three Harrison Ford-starring classics.
